I'll admit that most of the science is above my head. But as I understand it, the MHRA takes the time between submittal and approval very seriously. Its one of the metrics they pride themselves on. From what I am reading here, people are saying the MHRA is delaying a decision, or news of a decision, until a certain day or event. I just don't see that as reasonable.
