Doc logic, when Flaskworks was acquired, they had patents for two automated cell-therapy systems. The Eden is derived from the MicroDen system that Corning was selling for Flaskworks. However, Northwest Bio has also been filing patents for another automated system, the BATON, for a T-cell therapy that Flaskworks had previously developed for Neon Therapeutics. The BATON cultures both dendritic cells and T-cells, to naturally present the patient’s cancer antigens to the patient’s T-cells ex vivo.
