Oh, there's plenty of other crutches the longs can (and will) use to make sure the NSS fiasco stays alive. Just look at krumbums theories of shadowy "overseas" brokers who supposedly have the majority of DBMM's "naked short" position.
The downfall of Alpine (if it happens) will simply be yet ANOTHER spectacular "fail" as far as being one DBMM's "perps" of the NSS fantasy. Another fail in a LONG LINE of them!
The longs of DBMM have learned well from the management of the company. The same way the company's management blames "external forces" for the company's non-performance, the longs here always find someone else they can blame for the non-exposure of the huge "naked share" position.
If this "company" lasts for the next ten years (doubtful but who knows), there will no doubt be ten years of waiting breathlessly for the "squeeze" that never will come!
I wonder who they will blame next, after Alpine is over and done with?
