There was a joke we always used to make back in college years. I don't remember the whole thing verbatim but it went something like... 'A reporter asks him a question about foreign affairs and he starts off answering with "Well I uh, I uh, I uh, I uh, well", then Nancy whispers in his ear and he goes, "yes Iacocca, we've done wonderful things together with him and the rescue of Chrysler"
There were others too but most of them involved our best impressions of his voice and our hatred for his wife for her "just say no" bullshit that turned into zero tolerance laws, which locked people in prison for simple possession of so much as a joint in their pocket. She was the one running the show by that time, sitting in on cabinet meetings and shit. Ronnie and her were joined at the hip and there was a reason for that.
A little critical thinking, how long was Reagan symptomatic before being diagnosed? Wouldn't have been unusual for Nancy and the family, and Reagan's doctor, to write off much of what they obeserved as simply old age.
