TSLA: waiting to see what happens when they remove the safety drivers. Only company using a camera only vision system. Everyone else uses a combination of cameras, LiDar, radar, etc. What could possibly go wrong? Not sure how much more upside this can provide for the stock. If they stay on their own initially it is going to be a money losing cash drain. It took UBER a long time to build up their network. The downside risk here is massive to the point where it may even be incalculable. If the camera only self driving system fails (I.e. multiple accidents especially in low visibility weather) then the TSLA dream of a massive cyber taxi network will be put on hold and then there is a big issue with all of the self driving systems that were installed when customers purchased their car and paid extra for it.
