Did it ever dawn on you that just maybe they are, like you say, 'discredited' because authoritarian governments don't necessarily prefer independent journalism?

I have repeatedly used other sources in support of the Al Jazeera articles posted, always wondering if you would ever come in to comment on any of them. You may have once, but your problem with the English Al Jazeera is clearly a 'stuck on the messenger and not on the message' problem of yours. You never come in on Haaretz, or a multitude of non-Al Jazeera posts, which are just as condemnatory of Israel as each other. E.g., three in this one:
