Since End story soon, so LP doesn't need hire new blood, no need marketing team, salesteam, no need hire new staff for accounting, no need new CFO. In fact, they can't handle heavy workload after MHRA approval. I am guessing LP has the Offer already, just waiting MHRA approval, then announce the big news

In theory yes, but in practice perhaps not.

Unfortunately there are many leaders out there in business and government who cannot do the job themselves anymore (if they ever could) but who refuse out of ego or greed to give up power or at least share power with those who can and this holds back progress in ways we cannot begin to calculate. Look at how long the last US President clung to power and by the time he stepped aside it was too late for his replacement as candidate to gain traction. He refused to recognize that one might manage being a candidate with that degree of infirmity or a caretaker president but not both simultaneously and clung to both roles way too long.

If NWBO gets MHRA approval then things are about to get a lot harder.

I believe this management team probably honestly believes the propaganda of their supporters and sees the dismal failure to make progress on a reasonable timeframe let along deliver value to shareholders as a great success and that under any leadership team that this would have failed.

It is pretty clear that the lack of separate CFO is a feature and not a flaw and thus not an indicator they are just passing time until a buyout.

The Woodford debacle shows how much pain management was willing to have shareholders accept rather than to share power with others let alone give it all up entirely.

Remember the infamous phrase ‘All Big Pharma brings to the table is a checkbook.’

Unless that bad attitude has changed, do not confuse your desire for this to be over and actually derisked with what management might or might not see as necessary. Remember that their interests and ours are not in full alignment, they are already rich while we are not and so waiting means something much different to them than it does to us.
