Disregard of IP Rights Precludes Blarcamesine in PRC

China has failed to implement or only partially implemented a number of its commitments on intellectual property under the United States-China Economic and Trade Agreement (Phase One Agreement), and the United States will continue to monitor closely China’s implementation.

This is why I implied, when posting the new report that Alzheimer's disease is proliferating and will be an increasing problem for China, that there is no certainty that Anavex would ever actually sell blarcamesine in China. Anavex and every other Western technology company knows that China simply does not respect intellectual property laws or rights. Chinese thievery of intellectual property is common and accepted in that culture.

I am an intermittent employee of a NASA contractor and annually have to take instruction and coursework on how to keep restricted or classified technology out of the hands (or computers) of foreign adversaries. The People's Republic of China is, far and away, the most serious entity attempting to steal IP (intellectual property).
