It's an ethics issue, despite the fact that the commenter in question didn't take payments from Novocure. His clinic offers Optune. He didn't do research through Novocure, didn't sit on an SAB of Novocure, didn't take an honorarium from activites funded by Novocure.

What conflict? And the fact that the best retorts were "hey this guy is part of a system that offers Optune. Clearly we can't trust his motives!" without addressing the critiques laid out is telling.
