I don't think anyone should trust any other country not to elect criminals. 'They' 'elected' putin, orban, flathead in n. korea and many others throughout history.
WE elected reagans, bushes, shithead and others.
USA isn't some isolated island in control freaks and dictators.

Countries should look at the three fingers pointing back at them about trust.
And I agree the world isn't shutting the door.

The column says the world will not trust us not to elect another trump now or later.

The odds that whomever the next GOP nominee is will run on Trump's record are slim, particularly if the midterms prove to be a blue wave; which would indicate a dramatic shit in sentiments toward the Dem Party.

I don't see any short term restoration of trust toward the Trump administration but rather I see former allies watching for the kind of backlash from American voters toward the GOP that will cause them to formulate a future plan for
rapprochement.
