I've looked into annuities a couple of times with different firms and Fidelity as well.

I'm too old for it to be worth it. My RMDs kicked in this year and I'm taking the cash.

Over the long haul I can get a better return in our IRAs than what an annuity would pay.

And rolling RMDs into a Roth prevents future contributions to the IRS.
