It is far more worthy of discussion than you apparently realize. Very large numbers of government grants are being cancelled by Musk's idiotic DOGE children. Scientists are being fired from government agencies, and some of those agencies are simply being eliminated. Trump has abruptly cancelled $2 billion in research funding for Harvard, almost all of it medical.

All of this has already done damage, and may do a great deal more. You should do some reading.
