Dude I keep trying to drop the subject but you come back for more. The world does not revolve around me, you, or Trump. My first post was regarding the fact that I was conflicted between selfish gains and what’s best for the economy. You insist on pushing. You should be ashamed of your hypocrisy. Seve. I'll debate it with you if U like ...altho we need to throw in something about AMRN ...which has done well the last couple of days ...and also congratulate Ram for making his $ back on TSLA.
100 % plus tariff on products made in China ...if kept in place mean Co's like Best Buy will likely file for bankruptcy by year end .
Even Amazon has reportedly refused to allow containers filled with outdoor summer furniture ...to be loaded onto ships for transit to the US .
Why...because they know they can't add 100% onto their existing prices ...and sell the stuff ...and dont want to eat the cost of the tariff .
So despite the reprieve vs rest of world ...a 10% tariff that can be eaten by sellers and buyers ...the products made in China , can not .

So good news for AMRN is that the tariff applied to Chinese sourced API ( used by the generics ) is likely to be a lot higher than any tariff applied to non Chinese API .
So what do the generics do ...pretty much the only thing they can do is declare Force Menjure ...poster RMB will explain that if needed ...and hopefully that gets them out of their supply contracts .

Oh by the way re Russia ...last thing Putin wants is oil at $50 ...arent we there yet ? So if Trump can get oil under $50 it may force Putin to a deal ( although those in the Permian Basin won't be happy )

Amazon.com Inc. has canceled orders for multiple products made in China and other Asian countries, according to a document reviewed by Bloomberg and people familiar with the matter, suggesting the company is reducing its exposure to tariffs imposed by President Donald Trump.
