Imaginary friends don't roll their eyes when I start a conversation about investing in casual conversation. I also like to read about the history of politics as we can always learn from the past, but current political events are full of deception that has not been revealed yet to learn from. I find both Trump and Biden to be boring discussion, but the lookout with the only binocular box keys which were in his pocket when the Titanic sank, was re-assigned shortly before the voyage and therefore wasn't even on the ship in 1912 to be interesting. Nor was J.P. Morgan having cancelled his trip shortly before the voyage. But quite a few that opposed the Federal Reserve Act of 1913 were on the ship...until they froze to death in the icy waters. Now that's interesting conversation. Or how about Hitler seizing all the Rothchild's money in german banks and kicking them out of germany, only for the Rothchild's to further their endeavor's in America, which was done legally and properly imo. They knew how to make politics work in their favor and had every right to do so, also imo. But the consequences are still felt today over 100 years later. The IMF makes the world turn in their favor by investing heavily in the 4 components that control most everything...water, land, labor and food. Once again, they know how to make things happen and I honestly cannot fault them for having interesting viewpoints. Imo...politicians are mere puppets of those with larger agenda's. I'll go back to sitting in a chair in the corner of the room and read quietly now.
