Ya gotta luv how the first sentence uses the word "may".
Ever seen that used before. Think HERA. They always carefully worded every sentence using may instead of shall so that they could never be held accountable and would never have to do anything.
It pretty much makes the statement meaningless.

Maybe Bessent ought to do a little research and see how the government "stake" was obtained and the illegalities that entailed before he starts making deposits that don't truthfully belong in his department!
