I know it's not perfect analogy...but look what happened with Covid vaccines. The mRNA vaccines got quick approval and the non mRNA vaccines got very slow approvals. Technically a trump administration that was very pro mRNA originally would be more amenable to nonmRNA vaccines but I don't know if UK will follow suit in the same rightwing way. Ultimately UK and US politics will play a role on this decision
