Sludge could have at least mentioned Schumer's position that the keys given to Musk by a shutdown would have opened more doors.
Trump just opens up whatever doors he wants with or without the democrat's blessings. There's nothing Schumer or the dems can do to stop him. So for them to just hand Trump the keys to the government was a master mistake. We wanted them to be an opposition party and that's all they can be at this time. Really, really stupid to go against the entire democratic house and 30 democratic senators plus the entire base. Obviously it was a total misreading of the mood of the country since Schumer had to cancel his book tour because of massive protests.
Sorry fuagf... the dem 9 will always be remembered as paid off and greedy selfish people. You can keep thinking what you want. It's your prerogative. But you almost sound maga on this one. Or influenced in some way.
I have no more input as I've written my piece and reasons already. And I'll refrain from any more debate with you because you seem set in your opinion. And I can't promise you I have as much tact and patience as you. I'm not as learned as you and many people on this thread. So sometimes stopping is the best decision.
Remember 249 people against 9 or 10 minority wasn't enough. That's just fucking wrong.
