Maybe you should read up more. She is the sister of a GBM victim who was also in politics before she passed on. She is an advocate for change with regard to GBM research priorities which has been given up on by the system as an intractable disease that medical students are barely given any training about. Even funds set aside and designated for GBM research have not been spent. So this representative of the people is certainly within her rights to stir the pot when the system is so broken that it won’t even spend the funds set aside in acknowledgement of a long standing problem when there were plenty of opportunities to do so.
