Impeachment is not a criminal proceeding.

Yes and no. Remember: the outcome of an impeachment trial is acquittal or conviction. That is the official language. The questions raised by the behavior of a president who's been impeached is whether he's committed "high crimes and misdemeanors."

How it works is explained here:

https://www.law.cornell.edu/wex/impeachment

And this addresses the question under consideration:

FEDERAL IMPEACHMENT AND CRIMINAL PROCEDURE: THE FRAMERS' INTENT

This article examines whether or not the framers of the U.S. Constitution intended that the impeachment of a Federal public official should be considered a criminal proceeding subject to all the constitutional guarantees for such a proceeding.

Unfortunately, there's no download available. They do suggest some libraries.

I don't give a fuck what level, what crime or civil anything. I've never said I was a professional lawyer or scholar like you, my only point was someone has to file whatever it takes to put it on record and in public that the people know that some body is at least thinking of treason or impeachment of this criminal.

Because that's what the 210 million people are thinking and want to know if anyone else in government is even breathing.

That's all, that's it. I don't care if they use crayon. I'm asking for acknowledgement from anyone other than the gop. I actually know nothing can be passed or charged with this administration. It'll go nowhere but the public will be aware.

Don't know about your need to go off on tangents that aren't even at issue.

Thanks for the civic/criminal lesson.
