#753038 RE: StonkMaster #752988

Unless I missed it, I don't think I saw this combo application in the published CHM minutes. Once explanation could be that this application was addressed during the September 24 meeting, which still hasn't been published yet. If we assume that was the case, this application would have had a 162 day timeline from CHM 1 to approval. While this duration has gotten longer on average more recently, there are several other applications in the sample with timelines under 200 days; interestingly, most of those approvals came between July and October of 2024. That is exactly when IRP approvals started picking up.

We've also now gotten 4 non-IRP approvals in just a little over 3 weeks. The last time there were this many approvals in such a short window was... October 2024, when there were 4. Prior to October, there were 2 or 3 non-IRP approvals every month; in November, December, and January there was only 1 per month. Who knows what goes on under the hood, but from the outside one could be excused for getting the impression that, as IRP approvals started rolling in, agency resources focused more on those and less on national pathway applications...

Regardless, it seems encouraging that MHRA is knocking out approvals so frequently now. As of today, DCVax-L is 253 days past its first CHM meeting.
