I think you are missing a few details. The artisanal production method was inspected and approved for human consumption which I believe allowed for the compassionate use. I haven't checked into it, but artisanal may have had to be inspected prior to trial use. Someone on the board will know the answer to that.
Eden will have to go through the same inspection/approval process before it is allowed for human consumption.
