#742538 RE: learningcurve2020 #742483

Cut that thread right off!

Again I am not sure what you mean.

I would welcome an independent CFO, as would independent retailers like myself who are not emotionally or financially beholden to management (or anyone else on the other side).

I doubt a CFO would help with transparency or governance as much as you think because ultimately the CFO will either knuckle under and endorse what has been going on or else quietly resign and not take their reasons public (since to do otherwise is a career limiting move).

Since we lack the votes as independent retailers to force the issue, maybe like a prior lawsuit forced governance reforms as part of the settlement (to little practical effect in my opinion) maybe the lawsuit over the alleged true-ups can include governance reforms with teeth in them, including imposing a CFO and in exchange require no admission of wrongdoing reduce or drop any requirement to disgorge the shares allegedly involved in the alleged true-up. That settlement would not occur in a timeframe meaningful to us before the fate of NWBO is decided.

The faster route would be that if Big Pharma got involved in a truly large way, they might require a CFO or some board seats (though we saw how efforts to get board seats worked out for Mr. Woodford).
