In statistics, status is a categoric variable - usually nominal and less commonly ordinal. They would have used the word score if MMSE was a continuous covariate. Note in the table that they specifically break out the <= 20 and > 20 --- this is the MMSE status. The scores are listed separately as mean (SD)
Hosai Im not meaning to fully interject into something way over my paygrade but with many patients on current AD medication is there a chance that competing sigma 1 binding with say biogens generic drug (name fails me) or others is a cause for some if not many of the dropouts? Does the results reveal who was on what?
