CMCSA

CMCSA ($37.40) I brought CMCSA at $37.71 yesterday and here is what I like.

1) CMCSA currently pays a decent yield at 3.3% at current levels, so that is a plus.

2) CMCSA consistently is a solid albeit slow grower. I expect about $4.40-4.50 next year. Now CMCSA Used to be a stock that got a 15 multiple, but I do think a 12 PE is what it is worth. Hence I feel FV is in the low 50's here.

3) CMCSA consistenly buys back it's stock. They are consistently buying down right now about 5-7% of the shares annually, and that is a huge plus in my opinion.

4) CMCSA has really sold off like most things, was mid 45's in november now in the 37's. Hence I see the opportunity here.

Conclusion: This one isn't gonna get anyone rich, But I think there is a good chance for a 30-40% gain over the next year, it offers you a combo of a good buyback, a decent and growing divy, a historically low pe, oversold and near the low end of the range entry point. Will add more on weakness. All is just my opinion, and I could always be wrong though.

HLF

HLF ($6.46) I brought HLF yesterday at $6.93, a rotten entry point I admit it. Not that I love the type of business, but I do think the stock is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too cheap, and believe the turnaround is really starting to take hold.

1) HLF is really cutting cost successfully and that has helped and should continue to help the bottom line.

2) HLF I expect earnings north of $2.00 next year and expect the comps possibly as early as q4 but most likely next year to start showing positive eps comps. I expect this stock never to get a high pe, but a 5-7 pe when possibly comps turn postive seems likely. Hence I could see a $10 stock conservatively, maybe more over the next year.

3) HLF negative is they have a decent amount of debt to say the least. Although the positive is they plan on paying a bunch off over the coming years with earnings and cash flow they hope to generate from the business.

Conclusion: I plan to keep this position small, because of the business model, and the balance sheet isn't the best. Having said that sub $7 I do find it very attractive here for a good chance at a very nice return over the next year. Time will tell. All is just my opinion, and I could always be wrong though.

VZ

VZ $39.97 Brought VZ at $39.99 yesterday. This is clearly a place to put cash and not get rich so to speak.

1) Pays a nice dividend of 6.8%, so you get paid while you wait. So that is a huge plus here.

2) I think VZ Could get a multiple of 10 going foward, I think they will earn about $4.75-4.80 next year hence I see FV in the upper 40's over the next year.

3) What I like is analyst estimates are starting to show y/y growth now in q4 and I do expect fy 25 to be a year of growth (albeit it slow growth, but that should get the stock to a 10 mutiple. I like when comps start turning positive and I believe that will happen in q4 and beyond. Time will tell.

Conclusion: Not my most exciting pick, but also not alot of risk in my opinion under $40. I could see a 25% return over the next year, but doubt there is much downside on the stock price where I brought it, and you at least get paid nicely at almost 7% while you wait. Will buy more on weakness. All is just my opinion, and I could always be wrong though.
