The new IR, Alpha IR, has officially announced this as a retirement, but I personally think he was fired. Retirement is typically something planned well in advance.
Just take a look at LinkedIn: when a leadership transition is well-prepared, you’d expect job titles to be updated and perhaps some congratulatory posts or messages exchanged between the outgoing and incoming directors. Right now, though, it’s still very quiet.
Additionally, Alpha IR could take this opportunity to clean up their LinkedIn profile as a whole to enhance professionalism and consistency.
