#207265 RE: prototype_101 #207258

For Newbies: Proto, you seems REALLY worried about the common sense observations I have made that reduce the narrative you and others are making about the company being commercially ready with a PIC they've been working on now for 2 1/2 years to the joke that it is.

What is that - the 4th time today you've tried to discredit my argument?

Your narrative is as believable as the one you repeated over and over in 2019 that the revenues in 2020 would be $60 million. Here's that link for those that need a laugh: https://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=151859609&txt2find=revenues

I'm sure many here can no longer even force a smile because of the hundreds of false narratives you have foisted on this board in the last since 2012 that contributed to a false sense of confidence. Your third post here in 2012 was very excited about a deal any day. hmmm...a bit overoptimistic perhaps?

When discussing slide 29 - the slide you are hanging your hat on, Lebby literally said they have demoed SINGLE lane and 4 lane is coming -- which of course to anyone with a brain meant they have not successfully made 4 lane work as of course he would have said so at that time. If they had there must have been a problem because a 4 lane demo never came. The slide graph is secondary to what Dr Lebby said, and it didn't make any sense if what you were saying was true: there was no need for the "in development" part in the legend if you were correct. So that's why I look at more than one thing to come to a more reasonable conclusion.

The company would say they are ready if they were ready. And arrayed modulators aren't the same thing as a 4 lane PIC. Nor is 4 lane the same thing as PAM4. Educate yourself before you try to educate others.

They also would demo it just like they demoed the single lane at OFC...They are desperate for attention and are not hiding their technology as everyone wants to think here. If they had a 4x200 they would demo it and announce it - it may even be required in an 8k filing as material. You think if they really were struggling with getting deals and were ready they wouldn't announce a PIC in order to strengthen their negotiating position? Very naive.

Even if they were "in qualification", which I don't believe (the legend itself doesn't even make sense on that slide and Dr Lebby implied the opposite) it could take years to qualify just as it takes years to get qualified into a PDK.

KCC, Pro, and others here are in no way convinced that a PIC is ready.

IF you are so convinced - prove it with an email from the company that settles it once and for all.

4x200 PIC is PRE-TRANSCEIVER - so it is unlikely they are in any kind of serious negotiations with a transceiver company - which likely would say "call us when you get the PIC working". Legal fees in Q3 were only 17k higher than 2 years ago and for the 9 months were only 15k higher than last year - both of which argue against the idea that Dr Lebby has been spending all of his time negotiating complicated deals along with his attorneys.

There are SO MANY common sense arguments against your claim that you are really looking foolish here again. As always.

You are trying hard to fit square pegs into round holes. So hard - it's just comical. And very pathetic.

The good news is we likely will hear the TRUTH soon from Yves. I expect another major downswing in the stock when it is revealed that the PIC is nowhere close to being ready and that's why Yves was brought on board: to salvage whatever value the company has left by trying to convince larger companies to assimilate the R&D leg into their own and buy the patents of Lightwave up and develop their own uses for the material. It's a tall order because it doesn't look like there is much interest, but we'll see.

Like Pumpkin, I expect such a buyout at this stage to not be worth much. IF instead we get talk of the company itself moving into other areas, look for a drop back under $1 and out of the Nasdaq: such a reality would spell failure in the modulator realm and the hopes for ubiquity will be gone
