Denisk/RMB, remember, Amarin was a completely different company in 1998-2001. Different products, and substantially fewer shares outstanding.
In 1999 they shifted focus from hormone replacement therapy to neurology and pain management. They only had about 75M shares outstanding and virtually no revenues. They were averaging only a few thousand shares traded PER MONTH.
Essentially, they were a completely different company. The only thing remaining from Amarin in 2001 is the name.
I actually think the current incarnation of Amarin did not begin until around 2008 when JZ started development of Vascepa.
