You're right, a couple things didn't seem to make much sense to me. A lot of what he said to me more than justified a formal press release on the topic. The PC Edge is a Datawind product designed for EGIL. I believe the telemarketing booths are to follow smaller leads from CES and the oncoming Orlando convention. Through some type of feature of the registration process of this upcoming orlando convention, he stated they already had @ 1200 leads to follow up on to date. Alpacapower also had a point in that the website HAD been updated with new CES photos and the December, 2006 press releases.
I think the formation of a new company is the farthest thing from anyone's mind right now.
Personally, I think a lot is riding on this upcoming convention. There should be press releases, there should be introduction of a new product, and there should be a full release about this PR company at some point (which apparently has been in the works for quite some time). It's a confusing picture to say the least.
