I have sold close to 2/3rds of my position now. I just cannot find any reason right now to keep holding as I don't see anything in the next 6 months that will move this stock at all. I hate taking the loss but in a hot market there is money to be made but it is not in this stock right now.
Zip, If Alex Denner has any faith that his game plan for Amarin will result in a massive return then he will do a RS followed by an aggressive share buyback. Such a strategy would give him (and Sarissa) the biggest bang for the share buyback buck! What would be scary is if he does a RS and Sarissa does not buy additional stock and the share buyback does not initiate. That would spell trouble. Because share buybacks are restricted by certain rules, even the most aggressive share buyback would take some time to complete. If that is the game plan then no buyout until 2026 at the earliest. (Just speculation on my part.)
