My son went for an interview today with a company that he already worked for a couple years ago.
It was his second interview with the same company.
Apparently the people doing the interview were total idiots. They said, so you have no experience developing cooling systems for nuclear reactors.
He says, well I already worked here six months and that is all I did.
(Sort of, he did nothing for 3 months while a background check was being done, then he spent 3 months reading technical manuals. Being given absolutely nothing to do, he quit, was bored being paid for doing nothing at all)
It reminds me of university, IBM hired 1 person per year from our school and you had to promise to stay with them for 3 years of 4 months of internship.
Just me and a girl were selected as being good enough to merit an interview.
During my interview I sensed that the guy was completely bored with the concept of talking to me at all.
Fortunately for me, they hired the girl and she was forced to simply answer the phone for 3 years, gaining no real experience at all
