For those who don't want to wait another three to five years, they pressed the sell button. I'm not critical of Amarin though
That is because its already been almost two years under denner and many held long before denner. So you calculate do I continue to hold this most likely dead money for the next several years or sell and buy something else with much more near term promise. 3-5 years is a long time if you have already held 4 or 5 years and are still underwater. I sold half myself and already almost already recouped all my amrn losses on those shares in three months. Each person has to make their own decision based on timelines.
Conspiracy lover. Lol. How many boosters you take now? Lib of the year! BP and our health agencies sure have Americans in great shape, huh? God forbid someone challenge the status quo. Just keep on rolling into obesity, diabetes, and chronic illnesses.
BBI, Investing in a company because you expect it to be sold is unwise. This company has a valuable product and a long runway to capitalize on that value. I haven't listened to the investor conference yet. I have no opinion about it. Most biotech investors have the attention span of a meth head hummingbird. I think the remainder of 2024 is going to be painful. Institutions don't have a compelling reason to commit resources at the moment. I intend to accumulate shares when I can. Good luck. Sleven,
I think there is flight from the health stock sector because of uncertainty in the market after the incoming president chose a vaccine hater and conspiracy lover to be in charge of the nation's health. It has definitely given a fever to health care stocks.
LOL, as opposed to a Natziesque lover of gain-of-function to execute an agenda that wipes out seniors, cripples small businesses, and turns an election - mysteriously overnight via fictitious mail in ballots!
Yup, that boosted bio stocks alright... 3 of them. The 3 that rushed ineffective and damaging vaccines to market. Those stocks drove up the index, while others, like AMRN, suffered other ill effects of liberalism - - like dishonest judges ;)
