Words that evoke emotions like woke and elite dont really have any meaning. They’re just visceral tokens. I do think it all has gotten out of hand but I do believe people should have the freedom to be themselves. Part of the problem is that the faith based community can’t handle the fact that god makes mistakes. I remember the marble hermaphrodite in the Borghese in Rome. Apparently Catholics didn’t always feel this way.

Dowd came from a middle class background so I can see where she is coming from.

The Dems were branded as woke and they just doubled down in defending that position.

Never mind the LGBTQ or the DEI or the ESG folks those things don't affect their pocketbooks.

And that is what it came down to. As much as I like Obama I'd have to consider him an elitist.
