I'm hoping Kamala will squeak by here. And no, Biden wouldn't have won. His current favorability rating is very low; much lower than it was this summer.
Kamala ran a brilliant campaign. But one of her problems should have been obvious all along. Michelle Obama brought it up in her big speech.
Every hateful thing Trump was and is was on full display, as it has been for ten years now. And yet there were people--a LOT of people--whining that they didn't know where she stood on the issues, and that when asked she replied with "word salad". That was preposterous. They could just have gone to her website to find tons of stuff on the issues. And are those critics seriously saying Trump's "weave" makes any sense at all?
I think that was just how those people--men and women alike--dealt with what's really their misogyny. Probably if pressed, they'd mumble something about not being sure our country is ready for a woman leader, or some similar bullshit.
And if you're not watching TV, Trump's people have just announced he's off to the Palm Beach convention center to address his followers.
