Nope. You don't seem to have taken the trouble to figure out how it works. The debates--there have been others--are organized by Jubilee. The participants are chosen by them.
I'm not convinced all the commenters were Dems. Why should they have been? What they seemed to like was the civility, which is so unfortunately lacking in our political life today.
I'm sure you know Pete appears on Fox frequently. They like him, too.
