re my post this morning: I don't trust the rah rah here jimjet. people should be very worried at this point..given the messaging about a Tier1 deal being a virtual certainly by year end from Marcelli, and the latest "it's in the hands of the attorney's" pump going into PECC. In case you haven't noticed I like to call out phonies and phony rumors, messages that can dupe others. My calling KCC out 3 times now for not addressing whether the multiple foundries are all 200mm or not is an example. He has yet to respond, which makes him look disingeneous..something he no doubt would not agree with..but what can I say? Despite what you think I'm not here to play games. I call it the way I see it.
I wrote this yesterday and decided to not post it until I just read your post, fwiw:
Do I want Lightwave to crash and burn?
It sure seems that way given how negative I've posted over the years.
Short term my ego would take a bruising if they announce something super great because I just don't think it's going to happen, so while I am betting against it by not owning stock - and therefore don't want to see it happen - I'll accept it and congratulate the winners, and then will try to profit on the good news like any good investor should.
So NO I don't want them to crash and burn at all.
I'm doubtful but agnostic about their odds for long term success, but I actually would LIKE for the company to succeed and wildly because
1. I maybe could make a lot of money from being in early on a long term play
2. it's good for the world (in theory)
3. for the sake of the company employees I like to see hard and smart work rewarded
4. for the sake of fair minded investors who are hopeful
I would NOT be upset if those who have misled investors and who have rejected and ridiculed the truth were to pay a price...but even for them I would not want to see a complete crash and burn...just some purgatory...
