JRoon, it is quite interesting what you wrote in the above quoted paragraph. I say that because doing a bit of research concerning PBMs I have found that one of the big complaints is that they quite often slight generics in favor of brands because as you say with rebates and all they net more by covering the brand. That is why it is hard to understand why brand V has been shut out by CVS Caremark in favor of GV. One would think the Generics cannot match a large discount since they operate on much lower margins. Would be nice to know the true dynamics of how CVS came to that decision.
