I was surprised to see my trash collected last week by an electric collection truck (in Northern Virginia). The dog still barked as if it were diesel though :-)
Slowly but surely things are changing - but its painful watching companies having to scrape by to innovate and change the world.
Seems my post was posted twice (iHUB UI team are horrible ) so let me edit it to add Hyzon may have found a good niche here as the cost o f trash trucks is already much higher than say class 8 (NKLA) and the difference for the fuel cell transmission is thus less of an issue. add subsidies and they should be near comparable pricing. The 200kW cell may also be a game changer in costs. Going to take much closer look at their financials moving forward
