It would be inaccurate to say a Covid vaccine is a treatment for Covid. Just like RSV vaccines are not a “treatment “ but rather prophylactic or preventative or preventative treatment if you want to stretch it.



Exactly! Polio vaccines are not a treatment for polio.

No a cure means you don’t require ongoing intervention.



That makes my point. It exemplifies why the reading of prevent in that sequence as you offered with the ellipses is a misinterpretation of the sentence in the dictionary.

Just saying it isn't worth arguing about (for the second time.)
