Asking conix to justify her opinion is like asking a slug to run, but you know that. Also, as you most certainly also know:

Fascism

Fascism (/'fæ??z?m/ FASH-iz-?m) is a far-right, authoritarian, ultranationalist political ideology and movement,[1][2][3] characterized by a dictatorial leader, centralized autocracy, militarism, forcible suppression of opposition, belief in a natural social hierarchy, subordination of individual interests for the perceived good of the nation or race, and strong regimentation of society and the economy.[2][3] Opposed to anarchism, democracy, pluralism, egalitarianism, liberalism, socialism, and Marxism,[4][5] fascism is placed on the far-right wing within the traditional left–right spectrum.[6][5][7]

Fascism rejects the view that violence is inherently negative or pointless but rather views imperialism, political violence, and war as means to national rejuvenation.[11][12] Fascists often advocate for the establishment of a totalitarian one-party state,[13][14] and for a dirigiste[15][16] economy (a market economy in which the state plays a strong directive role through economic interventionist policies), with the principal goal of achieving autarky (national economic self-sufficiency). Fascism's extreme authoritarianism and nationalism often manifest as a belief in racial purity or a master race, usually blended with some variant of racism or discrimination against a demonized "Other", such as Jews, homosexuals, transgender people, ethnic minorities, or immigrants. These ideas have motivated fascist regimes to commit massacres, forced sterilizations, deportations, and genocides.[17] During World War II, the genocidal and imperialist ambitions of the fascist Axis powers resulted in the murder of millions of people.

Since the end of World War II in 1945, fascism has been largely disgraced, and few parties have openly described themselves as "fascist"; the term is often used pejoratively by political opponents.

Historian Ian Kershaw once wrote that "trying to define 'fascism' is like trying to nail jelly to the wall."[27] Each group described as "fascist" has at least some unique elements, and frequently definitions of "fascism" have been criticized as either too broad or too narrow.[28] According to many scholars, fascists—especially when they're in power—have historically attacked communism, conservatism, and parliamentary liberalism, attracting support primarily from the far-right.[29]

Position on the political spectrum
Pro-government demonstration in Salamanca, Francoist Spain, in 1937. Francisco Franco was later labeled by some commentators the "last surviving fascist dictator".[61]

Scholars place fascism on the far right of the political spectrum.[6][5][7] Such scholarship focuses on its social conservatism and its authoritarian means of opposing egalitarianism.[62] Roderick Stackelberg places fascism—including Nazism, which he says is "a radical variant of fascism"—on the political right by explaining: "The more a person deems absolute equality among all people to be a desirable condition, the further left he or she will be on the ideological spectrum. The more a person considers inequality to be unavoidable or even desirable, the further to the right he or she will be."[63]

Fascism's origins are complex and include many seemingly contradictory viewpoints, ultimately centered on a mythos of national rebirth from decadence.[64] Fascism was founded during World War I by Italian national syndicalists who drew upon both left-wing organizational tactics and right-wing political views.[65] Italian Fascism gravitated to the right in the early 1920s.[66] A major element of fascist ideology that has been deemed to be far right is its stated goal to promote the right of a supposedly superior people to dominate, while purging society of supposedly inferior elements.[67]

In the 1920s, Mussolini and Giovanni Gentile described their ideology as right-wing in the political essay The Doctrine of Fascism, stating: "We are free to believe that this is the century of authority, a century tending to the 'right,' a fascist century."[68] Mussolini stated that fascism's position on the political spectrum was not a serious issue for fascists: "fascism, sitting on the right, could also have sat on the mountain of the center. [...] These words in any case do not have a fixed and unchanged meaning: they do have a variable subject to location, time and spirit. We don't give a damn about these empty terminologies and we despise those who are terrorized by these words."[69]

Major Italian groups politically on the right, especially rich landowners and big business, feared an uprising by groups on the left, such as sharecroppers and labour unions.[70] They welcomed fascism and supported its violent suppression of opponents on the left.

Trump and his most ardent followers and enablers are most certainly fascist-like, and attracted to it.

Extremist ex-adviser drives ‘anti-white racism’ plan for Trump win – report

"The Left is Fascist --and that is an opinion.
On what is that opinion based? Certainly not on an understanding of what historical fascism is.

Former White House adviser and white nationalist Stephen Miller plans to reinterpret civil rights laws should Trump return to power

The anti-immigration extremist, white nationalist .. https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2019/nov/24/stephen-miller-white-nationalist-trump-immigration-guru .. and former Trump White House adviser Stephen Miller is helping drive a plan to tackle supposed “anti-white racism” if Donald Trump returns to power next year, Axios reported .. https://www.axios.com/2024/04/01/trump-reverse-racism-civil-rights .

“Longtime aides and allies … have been laying legal groundwork with a flurry of lawsuits and legal complaints – some of which have been successful,” Axios said on Monday.

Should Trump return to power, Axios said, Miller and other aides plan to “dramatically change the government’s interpretation of civil rights-era laws to focus on ‘anti-white racism’ rather than discrimination against people of colour”.

Such an effort would involve “eliminating or upending” programmes meant to counter racism against non-white groups.

The US supreme court, dominated 6-3 by rightwing justices after Trump installed three, recently boosted such efforts by ruling against race-based affirmative action in college admissions.

America First Legal .. https://aflegal.org/ , a group founded by Miller and described by him as the right’s “long-awaited answer” to the American Civil Liberties Union, is helping drive plans for a second Trump term, Axios said.

In 2021, an AFL suit blocked implementation of a $29bn Covid-era Small Business Administration programme that prioritised helping restaurants owned by women, veterans and people from socially and economically disadvantaged groups.

Miller called that ruling “the first, but crucial, step towards ending government-sponsored racial discrimination”.

Recent AFL lawsuits include one against CBS and Paramount alleging discrimination against a white, straight man who wrote for the show Seal Team, and a civil rights complaint against the NFL over the “Rooney Rule”, which says at least two minority candidates must be interviewed for vacant top positions.

Reports of extremist groups planning for a second Trump presidency are common, not least around Project 2025 .. https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2024/feb/29/trump-economist-stephen-moore-us-treasury-project-2025 , a blueprint for transition and legislative priorities prepared by the Heritage Foundation, a hard-right Washington thinktank.

Trump’s spokesperson, Steven Cheung, told Axios: “As President Trump has said, all staff, offices, and initiatives connected to [Joe] Biden’s un-American policy will be immediately terminated.”

Throughout Trump’s term in office, Miller was a close adviser and speechwriter – though one of the 45th president’s less successful TV surrogates, ridiculed for using “spray-on hair”.

Controversies were numerous. Among them were reported .. https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2023/dec/08/trump-second-term-lawyers-stephen-miller .. advocacy for blowing up migrants with drones (which Miller denied); for sending 250,000 US troops to the southern border; and for beheading .. https://www.nytimes.com/2022/05/05/us/politics/mark-esper-book-trump.html .. an Isis leader, dipping the head in pig’s blood and “parad[ing] it around to warn other terrorists” (Miller denied it and called the source of the story, the former defense secretary Mark Esper, a “moron”).

In 2019, after Miller was discovered to have touted white nationalist articles and books, 55 civil rights groups wrote to Trump, protesting: “Stephen Miller has stoked bigotry, hate and division with his extreme political rhetoric and policies throughout his career. The recent exposure of his deep-seated racism provides further proof that he is unfit to serve and should immediately leave his post.”

On Monday, Cedric Richmond, co-chair of Biden’s re-election campaign, said: “It’s not like Donald Trump has been hiding his racism … [but] he’s making it clear that if he wins in November, he’ll turn his racist record into official government policy … It’s up to us to stop him.”

Despite his legal advocacy in the cause of eradicating “anti-white racism”, Miller is not himself a lawyer.

Ty Cobb, a former Trump White House lawyer, recently told the Guardian .. https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2023/dec/08/trump-second-term-lawyers-stephen-miller .. those close to the former president were now “looking for lawyers who worship Trump and will do his bidding. Trump is looking to Miller to pick people who will be more loyal to Trump than the rule of law.”

Fascism =

Suppresses Free Speech (on college campuses)
Encourages street demonstrations to foment division and influence policy (Pro-Hamas supporters which are 100% Democrat). Brownshirts in the 1920's and 1930's did the same.
Top down social engineering (euthanasia in the pre-WWII, limiting parental rights now)
Increasing market interference by government--picking winners and losers for supporters of policy (Krupps in pre-WWII and mandates and tax credits now)
Expands government control in society
Government control of the media (control then, blatant bias now)
Corruption of governmental institutions (then and now)
