No. Apple's actual trading price in the market was never below $1. You're still not understanding the impact of stock splits.
AAPL stock has split several times over the decades.
June 16, 1987: 2-for-1
June 21, 2000: 2-for-1
February 28, 2005: 2-for-1
June 9, 2014: 7-for-1
August 28, 2020: 4-for-1
Multiply those for a cumulative total of 224 for 1. If you had a single share of AAPL at the start of 1987, you would have 224 shares today.
Those sub-$1 prices you see in the history are SPLIT-ADJUSTED!!!!!!! They are not what AAPL traded for in the stock market.
To find the actual trading prices in the 1980s you need to multiply the split-adjusted price by the split factor of 224x.
You might be confused because the history of nwbo includes REVERSE splits. 1 for 16 in 2012, 1 for 15 in 2007.
Back in 2002 nwbo never traded over $1000 in the market. Those split-adjusted prices need to be divided by 240 to see the
actual stock market prices.
