Milton , cat 2 now forecast for Florida...

Wednesday A/M. will be here quickly

for folks in storm track...

south of Sarasota or so will be on

right side of track...all the way across

Florida for the heavy rain with it...

Milton could be cat 3 or higher at landfall...

media wants to concentrate on Tampa

Bay for eye landfall...

may not be much left there it the media

pick proves correct...

most likely further south with Euro model...

Eye impact area and south of there for

100 miles will be decimated by Milton...

Folks need to move instead of preparing

to hang around...go north and not east...

Much bigger impacts potentially hitting

than what hit North Carolina...

Milton, my posts have been ahead of new

forecasts over last few days while

watching videos with modeling...

Time to turn the video watch over

to a veteran...

Video only in next post...

There have been bad what if scenarios

laid out for a potential Tampa Bay landfall

in past years...

But not from such a straight west to east

landfall at impact near Tampa Bay...

Florida has some oil refinery sites just

south of Tampa Bay that could pose

environment concerns if impacted severely,

and not mentioned in Mark's video...

weather is local...

so we watch...LJ

Milton, Florida coast will look like Gaza damage

after storm surge impacts...

Peak cane strength will drive the

storm surge from that Peak intensity

into area of eyewall landfall and points

up to 100 miles south along west coast...

Those areas will see massive damage...

It won't matter if storm loses a little

intensity when interacting with the

stalled low before landfall...

Storm surge will be driven starting out

in ocean from peak intensity....

Exactly where is still not set in stone...

so we watch...LJ
