Lindor show you why I was complaining when he was out, he is too important to this 2024 mets to be out, than again if diaz was 2022 diaz and good this year this team might of won the division. Lindor is what makes them good, this team might not even have been .500 without him. If I were you I would of rather had Arizona whose ptching is questionable, or atlanta, who had no pitching lined up for game 1. But the mets bullpen doesn't have alot available going into game 1. But heck we have a sp in severino, followed by manaea, followed by quintana all on regular rest and maybe they can use peterson as well on thrusday on 3 days rest if need be. If they steal game 1 the mets will win the series for certain in my opinion, my guess is they don't though with all that emotion used and probably no maton, brazoban,ottovino and diaz available (Diaz and Maton are the two big ones), the bullpen is limited today, severino needs to get deep in this game. Good news is they can go to butto for several innings today if need be. And that is what I would do. I think the mets have a decent shot at the brewers I feel good about game 2, I expect manaea to bounce back and you to have a difficult time in that game. SoI expect this series to go three and than we will see what quintana shows up on thursday, at least that is my belief.
I'm sure you don't want this to be the peak of the mets season, can't say I blame you being a brewers fan. We will see for me this is a 50/50 series. I would feel more confident if the mets had a extra day, because I truely believe the mets are a better team than the brewers not by much. I also think San Diego is a better team than the mets although not by much. eventhough mets are 5-2 against the padres and 1-5 against the brewers, but records in the regular season mean nothing when it comes to the postseason. All is just my opinion, and I could always be wrong though.
