They have to play. I'm not arguing that. they should of played these games regardless. they should of moved the series to wednesday to be fair to all involved lets not make like the padres and Brewers getting and extra day with there pitchers is a disadvantage, there is a common off day in baseball on friday, and guess what I doubt there would be rain out in Milwaukee and San Diego as Milwaukee is a dome and san diego it rarely rains and not in the forecast.

The Mets could have avoided it but they choose not to.

We have been over this. Mets couldn't avoid it. They didn't know a game was gonna be rained out 5 months in advance and every team would of made that choice 5 months before to play it there it is the logical and smart choice to schedule the game on that thursday when your in Atlanta. They were there Monday. The answer is yes, did they play nope. Did they play tuesday a DH, the thing I read is Atlanta has a thing with parking with a office building, that they can't schedule day games with out given advanced notice for the parking, hence they couldn't play A DH. Could of they moved the game wednesday probably not because they can't because they didn't have parking, and they need to once again give advance warning to secure the parking with the office building. If true it is a joke to have your ballpark make a deal to secure parking for it's customers. That is insane if true and that is not on the mets, that is on the braves and more importantly on MLB who could easily move the WC round to Wednesday. I truely believe the parking story because other games were moved, but they didn't move this one, because they couldn't secure parking hence the mets were not at fault here they are a victim of this insanity by baseball. All is just my opinion, and I could always be wrong though.
