Hank, I had something similar happen to me, where I placed a buy order on the ask and it didn't fill. Finally, I placed it slightly above the ask and it still didn't fill, but other orders were filling. I called my brokerage firm (Vanguard) and they called the MM and it filled within 15 minutes.

Well let's see if I get my fill today before the close. The bid is now 10,000 at $0.0353.
the action seems similar to this time yesterday - approaching my bid but not quite get there.

Well, this morning pre-open, the bid is again at $0.3041 - again that 0.0001 above my bid. We'll see if this time things work out differently and I get my fill today.
