I'm curious who is making these 8 x 200G transceivers? I thought the footprint, inability to mass commercial make in CMOS (TLNB or InPhosphate), as well as higher voltage levels did not make this technology feasible/commercial ready at this point, and that Lightwave was going to be the solution? Still wondering what Coherent's 1.6T samples are using. Thanks!
The research firm expects the first 4x200G and 8x200G transceivers to be shipped in late 2024 and has “sharply increased” its 2025 forecast for these modules.
