One can rationalize away why people do things such as purchasing SBES but it could be a ploy.
If one had 100 million shares of SBES at .002x or whatever and did not want to lose big they could start buying in the event it brought some excitement to the table. When that happened and when everyone was buying up at .002x or whatever that person could exit (unscathed).

People will lie cheat steal to protect their money sometime even if it means losing their integrity. Or work in groups selling back and forth to each other and really not losing in the process except maybe for a trade cost.

Just be careful.
