We are getting closer on my Tesla Semi prediction. First accident involving a Tesla Semi veering off the road that im aware of has occurred and led to it catching on fire. Oneday in the near future one of these bad boys will go out of control, 'Maximum Overdrive' style in a city, and really do some damage.

A CME struck Saturday after X-1 flare launched it on Wednesday and has not sent many vehicles out of control that ive found so far. While there hasnt been many accidents, theres been several fires involving Teslas after that CME. Still news reports about EV accidents on weekends are usually slow to come in. 2 so far, the Tesla Semi this morning and a Tesla likely on autopilot struck a police officer trying to deal with a disabled vehicle.

STRONG GEOMAGNETIC STORM: A CME hit Earth's magnetic field on Aug. 17th (~1400 UT), sparking a brief but strong (G3) geomagnetic storm. The timing was bad for both European and North American sky watchers. Daylight washed out what must have been a widespread aurora display. This CME was hurled toward Earth 3 days ago by an X1-class solar flare from sunspot AR3784.
