Yep, those who oversee budgets for SEC are influenced by donations from those who benefit by understaffed and otherwise under empowered rules created as a facade and employed as governance over those who have been stealing trillions of dollars collectively and pay minimal fines as a cost of doing business. Sooner or later the curtain will be pulled back. Maybe there is too much getting out in the open for DOJ, FINRA and SEC not to take significant heat that turns heads and points fingers back at those in Congress for creating inadequate oversight protections with regard to investor holdings.
