Thanks for your and Steady T's input on biological testing for AD.

Switching gears a bit to the synucleinopathies, PD, PDD, and Dementia with Lewy Bodies, I know the MJFF has touted the Alpha synuclein Amplification Assay for biological confirmation for PD, I haven't heard much about it's application to Dementia with Lewy Bodies. Any thoughts on biological versus clinical confirmations there?

From a past dementia caregivers point of view I am pleased with the newer theoretical concept of a broad group of synucleinopathies. I spent many a worried night waiting for my dad to develop movement disorders when he was misdiagnosed as PD when he was actually DLB.

Hasn't Anavex reported positively on its pre-specified amyloid 42/40 marker (corresponding to FDA Stage 1 and Stage 2), but not reporting hitting on either of the pre-specified elevated ptau 181 (stage 2 to 3 and beyond) or elevated NfL (stage 3/4 and beyond)? (I'm using your descriptions here.)
