It is a badly flawed platform whose 'moderation' is mostly talk that they don't walk.
My ability to differentiate results in the thought that your reply to me is disingenuous and that describing 'free expression' as the tunnel which we must see outside of, makes no sense. Unless you view falsely crying fire in a crowded theater as protected free expression that flourishes unconstrained and outside of your imaginary tunnel.
Overall, we rate BitChute extreme right and Questionable based on the promotion of conspiracy theories, propaganda, hate speech, poor sourcing, fake news, and a lack of transparency.This source is not credible for accurate information and may be offensive to some (most). They 'freely express' the content described below as 'vile and dangerous', which you apparently are OK with. Most of us who post here are NOT OK with it. So my admonition stands.
BitChute says it is committed to freedom of expression and is against censorship, but it still moderates content at least to some extent. BitChute also says it opposes “platform bias,” “oppression or incitement” and “mob rule.”
At the same time, BitChute has hosted violent and offensive content in recent years, including videos by at least one creator who called for attacks on members of U.S. Congress in the wake of the Jan. 6 riot at the Capitol.
BitChute's founder Ray Vahey has described BitChute as "politically neutral".[23] Hope Not Hate wrote in their 2020 report that "in actuality, the company chooses to almost exclusively promote content and producers that engage in hate speech and harmful misinformation" and that the "vile and dangerous content that abounds on BitChute is a result of deliberate decisions on the part of their founder and team".[13] Bellingcat reported in 2021 that Vahey used the platform's Twitter account to promote antisemitic conspiracy theories, COVID-19 misinformation, and QAnon content.[14]
